Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is nestled in a peaceful forested area, offering a cozy retreat within minutes of Yosemite. The rooms are standard but very nice for a short stay, with an updated bathroom and original oak flooring. The dining options were lacking, primarily offering grab-and-go packaged items. The location is ideal for a relaxing getaway, though some rooms are close to the breakfast area, which could be noisy in the morning.
I stayed at this hotel at the end of September, beginning of October, so it was not too busy, giving the place a tranquil and peaceful setting. It's as close to Yosemite Park as you can get without actually being inside, making it a convenient stopover before entering the park. The lack of amenities and comfort, however, dampened the overall experience.
This hotel has comfortable rooms with a shared veranda area to sit outside. While some noise between rooms can be heard, the location is perfect for relaxing and exploring Yosemite. The grab-and-go breakfast is convenient, although more variety would be appreciated.
I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was cozy, and despite its compact size, it offered good value for money. The service, especially with housekeeping, was top-notch. The location was ideal for exploring Yosemite without being right inside the park. However, the dining options were limited, and the facilities were a bit basic.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms, though comfortable and a great value for the money, were a bit noisy. On the positive side, they had access to a nice porch. The service was satisfactory, but the housekeeping could have been better. The location was great for visiting Yosemite National Park, being close to the south entrance and the town of Oakhurst. However, the dining options were limited and basic. The hotel is situated next to a beautiful meadow, pine forest, and creek, offering a serene environment. Overall, a decent option for a visit to Yosemite if you don't mind the noise and basic dining offerings.
